Delegation of Iranian Sunnis travels to Lebanon

A delegation of Iranian Sunni Muslims has traveled to Lebanon to discuss ways of countering the Zionist-American conspiracy against Palestine known as the "Deal of the Century".

Iran Press/Middle East: Headed by 'Abdul Samad al-Sadati' Friday Prayers leader of Saravan city, along with Mawlawi Abdul Wahid Bozorgzadeh, the interim Friday Prayers leader of Chabahar and a group of Al-Mustafa International University officials, the delegation in a meeting with Lebanese scholars and officials, discussed ways to counter the Zionist-American conspiracy against Palestine, the so-called "Deal of the Century".

On Thursday in Beirut, members of the Iranian Sunni delegation met with Sheikh Zahir al-Jaeid, coordinator of the Amal Islamic Front (AIF) in Lebanon, and Sheikh Bilal Saeed Sha'ban and Sheikh Ghazi Hanaine, two members of the leadership's council of AIF, according to the Lebanese National Agency.

A statement from the 'Lebanese Amal Islamic Front' said that in this meeting, the issues of the Islamic world, in particular, the issue of Palestine, ways to resist the 'Deal of the Century', Palestinian people's rights, occupation, annexation of illegal settlements including the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank were discussed.

At the meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Lebanese Amal Islamic Front and Iranian scholars in the Al-Mustafa International University to achieve common goals and interests.
