Iran's Petroleum Minister:

IP: The Iranian oil minister said on Monday that Clinton's D'Amato Law for the oil industry did not work for Iran and the country produces 3.7 million barrels and exports 14 billion dollars of petrochemical products.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Phase 11 of Iran’s South Pars Joint Gas Field in the presence of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Iran's Oil Minister Javad Owji, Said: "In twenty months, this project was put into operation. The project that TotalEnergies SE invested 4.8 billion dollars in 2017 and did not take any action for it, but thanks to the belief that "we can' we are witnessing the operation of this project today."

Owji went on to state: "This was a unique move. We have started producing gas from this field for two weeks. This is the phase that, by completing its wells, we extract 50 million cubic meters of gas daily from a joint field with the neighboring country."

"We remember that when Turkmenistan cut off gas last year, we had a challenge for 10 million cubic meters in that area, but today, with jihadi efforts, this project, which the foreigners themselves could not believe, was put into operation today.", noted Iran's Oil Minister."

During twenty months in 1401(2022), we have put into operation more than 34 unaccomplished projects worth 12 billion dollars. For the year 1402, 67 priority production projects worth 15 billion dollars will be put into operation. Until today, 25 of these 67 projects worth 7.5 billion dollars have been operationalized." Owji added.

According to Iran's Oil Minister, ten important measures have been taken in South Pars, one of which was the steps taken to open the eleventh phase of South Pars. For this project, foreign companies like TotalEnergies SE, Shell, and China CNTC all came and went and none of them did anything because of the sanctions.

Furthermore, Owji elsewhere stated that thanks to the opening of this project, nearly 800 million dollars were saved. Certainly, companies such as TotalEnergies SE and CNTC of China, which had a contract and were supposed to receive 4.8 billion dollars for the operation of this project, are astonished.

Iran's Oil Minister then stressed: "With the blessing of our martyrs' blood and with our motto, we can today administer the oil industry of this country in all sectors, we are self-sufficient and we do not have any oil advisers and we help many countries that America has sanctioned, and they are because their refineries are inactive and production is decreasing. Today, we are also present in offshore refineries."

When Clinton implemented the D'Amato Law for the oil industry, he thought that with those sanctions Iran's oil industry would be paralyzed, but Thanks to God today we see that the country produces 3.7 million barrels and exports 14 billion dollars of petrochemical products.
