Iran Press/ Iran news: "Approximately 7.8 million vaccine doses had been distributed, and another 1 million amounts would be distributed on Monday," Alireza Raeisi told Iran Press.
"2 million doses will be distributed in the country by Friday, and considering the amount, the distributed vaccines in the country will reach about 10 million doses by then."
"It is expected that next week in the Iranian calendar (Starting from July 17) about 4 million doses will be distributed," he added.
Alireza Raeisi said: "Since last year, some health facilities for COVID have been deployed in Sistan and Baluchistan, as well as 800 hospital beds."
The Deputy Health Minister underlined that groups, IRGC, and Armed forces were working to combat the virus, adding that 250 medical specialists worked at the province's hospitals, so there would be no hospital bed shortages.
Emphasizing that there are no diagnostic kits or medical shortages in Sistan and Baluchistan, Alireza Raeisi said: "Vaccination of over 50s has been started in Sistan and Baluchistan, and enough vaccine has been provided."
