COVID-19 update: 165 deaths in past 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced that 165 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 84,792.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 04, 2021, 3,254,818 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,926,266 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 13,781 cases, out of whom 1,295 patients were hospitalized.

3,229 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 23,967,488 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 92 cities are red, 183 are orange, and 173 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,463,565 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 1,988,380 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 6,451,945 doses.
