COVID-19 death toll decreased: Iranian Health Min.

Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Minister of Health has announced that the number of daily deaths caused by the Coronavirus in the country got decreased.

Iran PressIran news: Addressing people on his Instagram page on Tuesday over the Corona crisis, Iran’s Minister of Health said that managing COVID-19 disease in the country achieved in its best way such that the number of deaths reached under 100 on Tuesday.

Saeed Namaki added that the flow of the patients into hospitals has decreased due to the empathy of the people and authorities.

He referred to the second phase of the social distancing project, the smart distancing, and said: "Although the situation in the country has gotten better if people do not observe the health protocols the situation will get worse." 

Namaki expressed regret over the pass-away of some of the medical staff in the fight against the virus.

"You saw that doctors and nursing staff in the world took to the streets as soon as their protective items were reduced, but our colleagues did not hesitate for a moment to show kindness to the people," he explained and called on people to observe the health protocols.
