Iran Press/ Europe: On the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's demise, A Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, in an exclusive interview with an IranPress reporter in Moscow, honored the memory of Imam Khomeini and termed him a great sage.
The Russian thinker pointed out the occurrence of wars in the world and said that nowadays wars have nothing to do with the financial resources, weapons, and property of countries but the war is for ideological reasons these days.
Dugin, termed by many people as a decision maker in Russia, referred to the Iraq war against Iran and the war between Russia and Ukraine and noted Commanders-in-Chief like Imam Khomeini are our religious and spiritual figures.
"During the Iran-Iraq war, we saw how the leader of Iran, as the commander-in-chief, commanded the war relying on spirituality," Dugin stated.
Dugin said that, in Shia ideology, Imam Mahdi (AS) is the commander-in-chief and Imam Khomeini was the deputy of Imam Mahdi.
The Russian philosopher termed the recent wars as a part of the apocalyptic wars and a prelude to the rise of Imam Mahdi (AS).
Russian thinker called Imam Khomeini the commander of truth in the battle between truth and falsehood.
The Russian ideologist pointed out the greatness of military forces and highlighted their formation within the framework of the revolution, Islam, and Imam Khomeini.
