The first day of the World Wrestling Federation ranking series ended with the snatching two gold medals by the representatives of Iran.

The second Ranking Series event of the year, the Ibrahim Moustafa, got underway in the historic city of Alexandria. More than 450 wrestlers are participating in the tournament and Greco-Roman will kick off proceedings.

In the 97 kg, Mohammad Hadi Saravi won the gold medal in the final match due to withdrawal of his Georgian opponent, Kubliashvili.

Before Saravi, Meisham Delkhani snatched the gold medal in 63 kg weight.

The second three-weight tournament of Greco-Roman wrestling will be held tomorrow, Friday, in which Mohammad Reza Garaza is the representative of Iran in the 72 kg category.
