Iran Press/ Iran News: The most important and attractive part of the historical complex is Rakhtshooy Khaneh, which is beautifully and uniquely designed. Rakhtshooy Khaneh is a unique monument built in 1307 AH and is an only-women place where they used to wash clothes.
Two brothers named Akbar and Ismaeel built Rakhtshooy Khaneh. As Zanjan has very harsh winters, they build it there for women's convenience. The laundry section has been built with 11 columns.
Zanjan's Rakhtshooy Khaneh has been registered in Iran's national monuments list. As an anthropological museum, the historical Edifice of Rakhtshooy Khaneh attracts tourists and history lovers.
Zanjan is a city in northwest Iran, serving as the capital of Zanjan Province.
