Tehran (IP) - Iran's Chief of Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) stresses the country is committed to the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and its stance will be clarified at the annual IAEA General Conference.

Iran Press/Iran news:  The 66th IAEA General Conference will be held on 26 – 30 September 2022, in Vienna International Centre, Vienna.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, Mohammad Eslami announced his attendance at 66th IAEA General Conference, saying: "The critical matter is that all countries have the right to have nuclear activity, so the IAEA facilitates and supports their access to peaceful nuclear technology."

Eslami noted that the accusations against Iran during the past 20 years and the announcement of the alleged locations are all fabricated based on the information of anti-revolutionary elements and intelligence services.

"Enemies intention is to slow down or disrupt Iran's development progress, so clarification will be provided in this regard."

Eslami stated that during the 66th IAEA General Conference in Vienna, various meetings are scheduled with representatives of countries in the International Atomic Energy Agency.

He hoped the meetings and negotiations would end the baseless claims against the Iranian nuclear program as soon as possible.
