The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the International Organizations in Vienna criticized the IAEA Board of Governors resolution on Iran as poorly thought.

Iran PressEurope:  In a tweet on Tuesday, Mikhail Ulyanov said, "Poorly thought-through anti-Iran resolution at the June Board brought its negative consequences. Not only has it complicated Vienna Talks situation but also created extra challenge for the IAEA in terms of JCPOA-related verification measures."

"Ritual statements (ritual in a sense that they aren’t expected to have any practical effect) take place in the IAEA BoG from time to time. They are far away from diplomacy and Realpolitik, but are quite tolerable if they don’t make harm," he added.
