IP- On Wednesday, the Iranian women's goal-ball team beat South Korea at the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Goalball Asia-Pacific Championships.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Asia Pacific Goalball Championship started four days ago in Manama, Bahrain, and today the Iranian women won against South Korea 6-3.

Iran will compete against Australia in the next match.

Australia, Thailand, Iran, Japan, and South Korea have participated in the tournament.

From the Saturday (training sessions only) until Friday (the day of the finals), five national teams will play for the continental title and get qualified for the World Championships, which will take place in December in Portugal.

They all have ambitions, mainly Japan in the women’s championship, which comes to defend the title, and for Iran, which was vice-champion in Chiba (2019), and China, the current champion, didn’t come to Bahrain.
