Tehran (IP) - Ali Bagheri-Kani, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister and Iran's chief negotiator in the Vienna talks, met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in Moscow on Tuesday.

Iran PressCommentary: Iran is consulting with Russia and China on various issues. In the new round of Vienna talks, Russia and China have been consulted with in multiple ways. A new round of negotiations on lifting sanctions on Iran began in Vienna on Monday last week (November 29th) and continued until Friday.

Iran entered the seventh round of the Vienna talks with good intentions and to lift unilateral sanctions and showed its will and readiness to reach a good agreement with a full team.

Iran presented two documents on the two issues of lifting US sanctions and nuclear commitments to the other side.

The European members of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the United States - which withdrew from JCPOA in 2018 - have continued to complicate the Vienna talks by ignoring Iran's rights and tying JCPOA to other issues.

After meeting with Russian officials in Moscow on Tuesday, Ali Bagheri-Kani stated that Iran-Russia relations are excellent and extend in various fields.

Bagheri-Kani added that in the new round of Vienna talks, Iran has consulted with Russia and China in various ways.

In an interview with the Russian Kommersant newspaper, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that the situation with Iran's nuclear program was created because "the United States has not given up any attempt to destroy the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."

Iran seeks a good agreement on the JCPOA and emphasizes that both parties must fulfill all their JCPOA commitments. On this basis, Iran has not entered new issues in the seventh round of talks, but the discussion focuses on continuing the sixth round of negotiations. Respecting the previous negotiations, Iran has based the text of its new draft on the draft of the last round of talks.

Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, about the seventh round of the Vienna talks and the views of the United States and European countries on Iran's demands in this round of talks, said: According to the document we reached in the previous six rounds of talks, the parties had comprehensive and in-depth talks on lifting sanctions and nuclear issues. The United States, as the first to create the Iranian nuclear crisis, must lift all illegal and unilateral sanctions against Iran, China, and other third parties.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated its adherence to its obligations in practice and is now fully prepared and determined to reach a fair agreement that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Iranian people. Iran wants the exact and complete implementation of the JCPOA agreement.

The repetition of baseless claims and irrational demands of the United States and Europe from Iran confirms the belief that a concerted policy is underway to influence the atmosphere of the Vienna talks.

Undoubtedly, such behavior will not only have no effect on Iran's intent to protect its legitimate rights but will also increase the complexity of the status quo.

The Iranian negotiators did not want anything more or less from JCPOA. However, the Western parties are trying to blame Iran for the prolongation of the talks and the cause of the possible failure of the negotiations. On the other hand, if the opposing parties pursue result-oriented talks with a constructive view and away from issuing biased and ineffective statements, then the talks will be on the correct process.

As the Iranian Foreign Minister has stated, there is no way for the United States to return to the JCPOA without lifting the harsh sanctions against Iran.
