Iran's President:

Tehran (IP) - Iran President during a meeting on Monday, said that joining Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has nothing to do with Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

Iran PressIran News: Ebrahim Raisi stated: "In the short time that has passed since the 13th government, nothing special has happened to increase the import of vaccines or our country's membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, except for the fact that our neighboring and friendly countries saw that we no longer focus only on the West, and having interaction with neighbors and countries in the region have become a priority of Iran's foreign policy."

Raisi expressed hope that the government could positively shape lifestyle, adding: "Today, the communication atmosphere is very different from the past and the circle of communication of people has become much wider and this communication space cannot be limited. Therefore, we should try to protect this area as much as possible so that the youth and different groups in the society can be effective instead of just being affected."

The Islamic Republic of Iran became a permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Friday (September 17th) in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, changed its position from observer to permanent member.
