Dushanbe (IP) - Afghanistan issue complex but known, solutions confusing but available, and resolving its crisis is possible only through dialogue between Afghans, Iran's Raisi said at the summit of Collective Security Treaty Organization on Afghanistan in the capital of Tajikistan.

Iran PressAsia: Speaking at the Summit of Collective Security Treaty Organization on Afghanistan held on the sidelines of the 21st SCO Summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Ebrahim Raisi said, the US presence in Afghanistan has achieved nothing but increase instability, the growth of terrorism, the increase in drug production, the spread of crime, the destruction of economic infrastructure, the suffering and the thousands of pain for the oppressed families of Afghanistan.

President Ebrahim Raisi said, "The quick fall of the Afghan government showed well that the structures that the United States created in this country are very weak."

"The history of Afghanistan teaches an important lesson about the resistance of this country against foreign intervention, and the people of Afghanistan proved that they do not accept a foreign country to decide their fate."

Ayatollah Raisi stated that Afghanistan's neighboring countries have a very important responsibility in this historical period of Afghanistan, adding, "We must provide conditions for the people and groups in the country to have a positive and peaceful interaction and to be able to portray their country's future correctly."

The President emphasized, "We believe that peace in Afghanistan will be lasting when the government and the pillars of governance reflect the composition of Afghan society, and all the tribes and groups of this country feel that they have an effective partnership in government, and governance is based on the opinion of the people."
