Beirut (IP) - User-generated content received by Iran Press shows Iranian fuel convoy entering Lebanon.

Iran Press/Middle East: The entrance of this convoy happened after the arrival of the first Iranian oil tanker nearly a week ago.

The first oil tanker carrying fuel from Iran has docked at Banyas seaport in Syria on Sunday night and finished unloading.

Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, wrote in a message on Wednesday night, "I was informed about the preparations of the people and the media in Al-Harmal area in order to welcome the arrival of the convoy of fuel tankers."

"However, I call on the people and officials of Hezbollah in the region not to hold any public gatherings during the passage of the convoy in order to protect the health of all and to facilitate the transfer process," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah added.

He also announced in a speech on Monday night that the first ship carrying petroleum products had arrived in the Syrian port of Banias on Sunday evening and that transporting fuel to Lebanon would begin on Thursday.
