Qom (IP): Emphasizing that the presence of Takfiri terrorist groups in the Nagorno-Karabakh region is a serious concern of Iran, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister added: "All parties have given full assurance to Iran that these terrorist groups will have no place in the region."

Iran PressIran News:  Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday at the international conference on Nagorno Karabakh held in the Amin Hall of the Qom Seminary Management Center, added: "Political, economic and cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan are at their peak. And for us, the Republic of Azerbaijan is a significant country in the neighborhood of the Islamic Republic, and good relations between the two sides will continue."

The Deputy Foreign Minister added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has a policy of good neighborliness with all its neighbors, and this policy provides the capacity for Iran to act to solve regional problems."

Stating that the Caucasus region is special, he said: "Nagorno- Karabakh has always been a point of conflict after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the independence of the Republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia from the Soviet Union."

"After the start of the war and the occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the Minsk Group consisting of several countries, co-chaired by the United States, Russia, and France, was formed to resolve the occupation, but the group has failed to find a fair solution," he said.

Araghchi added said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always declared its rational position from the very beginning, which was to oppose the occupation, and even at that time a lot of aid was provided to the Republic of Azerbaijan, and even some Iranians were martyred in that region."

Araghchi added: "The countries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia preferred to pursue this crisis through the Minsk Group, and with the inability of this group to resolve this crisis, another war began this year."

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has had and still has good capacities and has always used this capacity to resolve this conflict."
