Iran PressIran news: The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari announced in her presser on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 177 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 53,625.

According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 20, 2020, Lari stated that 1,158,384 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 885,054 of the total infected patients recovered.

She added that newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 6,312 cases.

5,563 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

Currently, no cities across Iran are in the red zone. 205 counties are in the orange zone, and 243 are in the yellow zone.
