Rear Admiral Mohsen Razaghi, spokesperson for CASAREX2025, announced that the joint exercise is being hosted by Iran’s Northern Fleet and the 4th Naval Region of Imam Reza (PBUH).

The drill involves the naval forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, along with observers from other Caspian littoral states.

He stated, “This exercise is being held under the slogan ‘Together for a Safe and Secure Caspian Sea’ and is part of implementing the directives of the Commander-in-Chief to expand diplomacy based on international cooperation and enhance alignment among the Caspian Sea naval forces.”
