AEOI spokesman:
Behrouz Kamalvandi

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said that the change in the access of the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors requires decision-making at high levels.

Iran PressIran News: 'Behrouz Kamalvandi', said in an interview about the assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh: "Martyr Fakhrizadeh had a master's degree and a doctorate in nuclear physics, but his main job at the Ministry of Defense was focused on the Defense Industry Research and Innovation Organization, which is diverse in all fields."

Referring to the media machination, he said: "The machination of the Zionist and Western media was to create a situation and accuse Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon, and in this regard, they were constantly raised Fakhrizadeh in their rhetoric. If you remember, when Netanyahu presented the documents, he mentioned him while the country was not involved in nuclear military issues at all, and the Leader's fatwa on this issue is quite clear."

Kamalvandi stated that the enemy does not accuse us only in the nuclear field and stressed that of course, they are not going anywhere in this regard. Their traces can be seen in various incidents. In the Natanz incident, it can be said that their agents are the same as the recent incident, and it seems that the Israel regime is involved in these cases.

"What concerns our strengths today is the enemy's target," he said of Israel's efforts to halt Iran's nuclear progress, adding that “One of their goals is to disappoint us in this way. This is a difficult and uneven path, but with determination and relying on divine power, we will achieve the result."

Asked about the IAEA inspectors' access to the AEOI facilities, Kamalvandi said: "These should not be too closely linked; Although it may not be irrelevant on some issues, in the specific case these are not issues that an organization wants to directly decide or analyze.

The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization said: "In terms of access, we take care that it is within its defined and normal limits.

He noted: "Of course, in addition to the discussions of safeguards and protocols, we also have two or three cases that are not in sensitive areas; For example in the field of mines. If access is to be changed, it must be decided at the highest levels, and the Atomic Energy Organization will be the executor of the decisions of the country's top officials."

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense was martyred in a terrorist attack around Tehran on Friday evening.
