Tehran (IP) - A spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry said that 14 people were killed and more than 50 were injured in two explosions in Bamyan, Afghanistan.

Iran PressMiddle East: Security officials in the Bamyan province of Afghanistan have confirmed the occurrence of two explosions in this province.

Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian also issued a statement confirming the two explosions, saying: Two explosions took place in the Bazaar area of Bamyan province, killing one employee of the Transportation and Traffic Department and 13 of our civilian compatriots, and injuring 45 others.

However, in the first moments of the incident, it was announced that an explosion had taken place.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
