Tehran (IP) - The Iranian ambassador met with the Consular Director-General of the Portuguese Foreign Ministry to discuss the delay in renewing the residence permits of Iranians living in the country, issuing visas, and the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in legal issues and extradition of criminals.

Some Iranians, especially students studying in these countries, had returned to their homelands due to the Corona pandemic. Now they are facing visa problems to return to the Portuguese.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassies in these countries are trying to resolve the problems.
