Iran Press/Iran News: Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday condemned the assassination of Hassan Mohammad Zaid, Minister of Sports and Youth in the National Salvation Government and Secretary-General of the Yemeni Al-Haq Party, and expressed his condolences to his family, and the government, and the people of Yemen.
"Like other crimes of the aggressors in Yemen, this cowardly assassination only shows the weakness and the end of the aggressors in the face of the resilient and determined nation," the spokesman added.
The spokesman noted that the assassination does not weaken the Yemeni people's will and morale; rather, it shows the legitimacy of the more zealous Yemeni nation
The Minister of Sports and Youth of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, Hassan Zaid, was assassinated by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday.
