Zanganeh: Iran's oil industry will not be exhausted

In response to Washington's new sanctions against Tehran, the Iranian oil minister in a tweet said that Iran's oil industry will not be stopped and exhausted and stated personally has no assets outside of Iran that are subject to sanctions.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in this tweet, emphasizing that the era of unilateralism in the world is over, added: "The imposing of sanctions against himself and his colleagues is a passive reaction to the failure of US policy to reduce Iran's oil exports to zero."

The US Treasury Department on Monday evening placed the Iranian Oil Ministry, its affiliated organizations, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Minister of Oil, and several other individuals affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Oil on its sanctions list, in which sanctioning has become an election propaganda tool by US government.

Trump administration continues to use this failed policy two years after withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and pursuing a policy of sanctions against Iran. Meanwhile the US political and civil activists say the sanctions have not worked and that the Trump administration has not achieved anything in its three-and-a-half years of intense hostility against Iran.
