The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad emphasized that Israel is now weaker than a spider's web. He warned the Israeli regime that if it takes any retaliatory action or makes any hostile move against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran's response will be crushing.

Iran Press/West Asia: Iran’s Ambassador to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh has warned that the Zionist regime will be met with a more severe response in case of another mischief following the Islamic Republic’s retaliatory strikes on the Israeli positions in occupied Palestine.

Mohammed Kazem al-Sadegh said on Friday: "We see that for almost a year, a regime armed to the teeth supported by criminal US and Western countries has not been able to achieve its goals in the small Gaza strip, let alone Lebanon and against Hezbollah who with a high military strength of trained forces ready to deal with this usurping regime and capable of inflicting painful blows on it.

The Iranian ambassador also mentioned the developments in Lebanon, adding: "We see that the desperate efforts of the Israeli regime to enter the south of Lebanon have not been successful so far, and this regime is suffering more and more casualties day by day."

The Iranian diplomat pointed out that the response of Tehran was based on the legitimate right of self-defense based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and since the international assemblies were unable to take any deterrent measures against the Israeli regime, the Islamic Republic directly defended itself.

Iran's ambassador to Iraq added: "The Israeli regime has committed various crimes, including attacks on men, women, and children, and has repeatedly targeted hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, and international aid organizations, However, the Islamic Republic of Iran only targeted military and security bases and infrastructures of the Israeli regime in the retaliatory missile attack. 219
