Tehran (IP) - After months of activity started from the very first days of the Coronavirus pandemic in Iran, the country's youths succeeded in producing indigenous Covid-19 diagnostic kits in large amounts.

Iran PressIran news: Managing Director of Livogen Pharmed company Ramin Fazel in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said that this company started its activity in designing PCR kits since the first days of Coronavirus pandemic.

"We were able to produce sample kits in March, and now by the efforts of Iranian experts we can produce these diagnostic kits in a large amount", he added.

Regarding the characteristics of these kits, the Managing Director of this company went on to say that faster results and lower prices of these kits are unique compared to foreign samples.

The knowledge of manufacturing these kits are purely indigenized, he noted.

Fazel retreated that in order to support the country's need, these kits are not allowed to be exported but we are ready to produce them in a larger amount if the request is given by the Health Ministry.
