Tehran (IP) - The Iranian-made airport mobile flight control tower was unveiled in the presence of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Brigadier General Amir Hatami on the sideline of the ceremony on Monday stressed the importance of such mobile control power in encountering different incidents like earthquakes, fire, flood, and military usage, noting that the system allows the country to have stable air operations in emergency situations.

General Hatami referred to a € 2 million saving per each control system and noted that the communicative and electronic equipment used in the system complies with the international aviation standards.

“Airport mobile flight control tower allows the country's airports to be always active and operational, both in the military and civilian sectors,” the Iranian Defense Minister said. 

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami described the achievement as the starting point for Iran so that it could use all transportation capacities and move towards an integrative intelligent system. 

Emphasizing that the process of development of the country should not be slowed down due to the pressures of sanctions, Eslami further said that the young Iranian experts always use the opportunity of sanctions to equip and develop the country's airports with higher speed and confidence.    207/205
