Tehran (IP) - Referring to the 25-year agreement between Iran and China, Iran's Foreign Minister said on Thursday that the country will not give a single meter of its land or even the exclusive right to use a single inch of Iranian territory, to China or any other country.

Iran PressIran News: "We are in the negotiating stage when at most, permission to negotiate must be obtained from the government, which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has passed this stage," Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

He added: "When we reach the agreement stage if there is a legal obligation in this contract, we must present it to the parliament. Otherwise, as a government ratified the bill, the parliament will enter into this agreement in the implementation of the laws, so this agreement will never be hidden from the parliament."

Reacting to the news of the transfer of islands such as Kish under a 25-year agreement with China, Zarif said: "These issues are not true, there is not even a shred of reality in the issues raised. We have not given and will not give a single meter of land or even the exclusive right to exploit a single inch of Iranian territory, to China or any other country." 207
