Hamas on Thursday said Palestinian resistance groups consider the Israeli plan to annex large areas of the occupied West Bank as a "declaration of war against the Palestinian people."

Iran Press/Middle East: Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas military wing, pledged in a video message that they will remain a "loyal guard in defending the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites."

He also stressed that if other parts of the West Bank were annexed to the occupied territories, the resistance would do something to make the Zionist enemy regret the decision.

The Zionist regime continues its plans to annex another 30 percent of the West Bank to the occupied territories in early July, under a US-Zionist so-called 'deal of the century' plan with the support of US President Donald Trump's administration.
