Sanandaj (IP)- Grand Mosque, or Dar ul-Ehsan, is one of the tourism and religious attractions of Kurdistan province.

Iran PressIran News: Sanandaj Grand Mosque dates back to the Qajar period and is located in the center of Sanandaj city. According to Iran Press, it represents the glory of Islamic architecture in the Qajar era and symbolizes the greatness of Iranian and Islamic architecture. 

The historical Sanandaj Grand Mosque has been made even more beautiful by the addition of colorful tiling with inscriptions.

The Grand Mosque of Sanandaj is registered as a national monument of Iran and is of interest to tourists who travel to the west of Iran.

The mosque's courtyard has 24 stone columns, beautiful decorations, and unique tiling.

Sanandaj Grand Mosque is one of the tourist destinations which can showcase Islamic architecture to tourists, especially on World Mosque Day.
