Tehran (IP)- The Chief of the judiciary issued an order to the Attorney General and the Deputy of the Judiciary for International Affairs to pursue the extradition of corrupt individuals who had absconded and fled the country.

Iran Press/Iran news The Chief of the judiciary, while issuing an order to the Attorney General and the Deputy of the Judiciary for International Affairs to pursue the return of fugitive corrupts, said: "Defendants should surrender to justice and know that they will not escape justice."

Chief Justice of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raeesi at a meeting of the Supreme Council of Judicial Officials said: "One example of injustice to humanity is the sheltering of economically corrupt individuals and their illicit money by some countries that claim to fight organized corruption and money laundering because some Western countries have become havens for criminals and corrupt people.
