Iranian Finance Minister, Farhad Dejpasand

Iranian Finance Minister, Farhad Dejpasand said that foreign investors' willingness to enter the Iranian market over the past 10 months has increased by 50 percent compared to the same period last year.

Iran Press/Iran news: Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the meeting of members of state and private sector dialogue council in Hamedan on Thursday, he added that foreign investment in Iran was worth $4.5 billion during the same period.

The figure may be lower than the required investment in the country, but given the intense pressure from the enemy, the rate of investment has increased compared to the corresponding period last year, he said.

"Despite sanctions, we have left behind the remarkable section of difficulties," he said, noting that today the government is seeking to pave the way for the private sector to enter the economy.
