Turkish ambassador to Tehran said that Iran and Turkey are two countries in the region that are going to be a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence.

Iran Press/Iran news: Turkish ambassador to Tehran Derya Örs, who participated in the referral, farewell ceremony of ECO Cultural Institute's presidents, talked to Iran Press on Wednesday about the future of Iran-Turkey cooperation on artificial intelligence.

The Turkish Ambassador added that the economies dependent on oil and raw materials will shift their focus to cyber, digital and artificial intelligence in the near future.

Referring to Iran's ICT Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi's visit to Ankara and his talks with Turkish officials to develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of artificial and digital intelligence he said: "I think the negotiations and the achievements were very important for the two countries in the field of artificial intelligence and cooperation because Iran and Turkey are two countries in the region that are going to be pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence in cooperation with each other."

During the farewell ceremony in Tehran, the former president of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Cultural Institute Mohammad-Mehdi Mazaheri was honored for the activities during his presidency.

Sarvar Bakhti, from Tajikistan, took the helm of ECO Cultural Institue.
