Zarif to head for Istanbul to attend Heart of Asia summit

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is going to leave for Istanbul to take part in the 8th Ministerial Conference of Heart of Asia summit.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is going to attend the 8th edition of  Heart of Asia Ministerial Conference summit which is going to be held in Istanbul on Monday.

It is noteworthy that the event which is titled 'Peace, Partnership, Prosperity' will be held in Istanbul on the 9th of December 2019.

Peace, the regional contribution and cooperation for the future of Afghanistan is going to be at the top of the agenda for the talks in the 8th Ministerial Conference of Heart of Asia summit.

Heart of Asia Summit which was commenced with the 'Istanbul Conference for Afghanistan' in 2011 held in Turkey, aims to enhance regional cooperation towards Afghanistan.

The event was attended by the Foreign Ministers of the  14 countries including Turkey, Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the United Arab Emirates. 205/219
