Iran Press/ West Asia: Lebanese Hezbollah said on Monday the Resistance fighters targeted Israeli Pranit barracks with missiles, causing direct causalities.
“In support of steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, our fighters targeted Pranit barracks on Monday morning with (Burkan) missiles causing direct causalities,” the resistance said in a statement.
Earlier Monday, Lebanese resistance targeted, with missiles the Israeli sites of Birket Risha and Hadab Yaron on the border with occupied Palestine.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah said that they targeted a military position in Tel al-Shaar, located in the Israeli border area, with a guided missile and attacked a military post in Hunin village, close to the Lebanese border, with a missile.
Hezbollah also announced that they targeted the Khirbet Maar military post belonging to Israel with a missile and targeted Israel's al-Rahib military site with a missile.
Tension has flared along the Lebanese-Israeli border amid intermittent exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israeli forces in the deadliest clashes since the two sides fought a full-scale war in 2006.
Hezbollah said three of its members were killed in recent clashes with Israel in southern Lebanon.
Israeli warplane and drone strikes as well as artillery shelling on Sunday targeted several Lebanese southern towns near the frontier.
At dawn, an Israeli drone bombed a supermarket between the towns of Tayr Harfa and al-Jibbain, causing major damage to the building and affecting the neighboring buildings.
And as artillery shelling targeted homes in al-Dhayra, the Israeli army fired machine guns at the town of Kfarkela.
Airstrikes also targeted the area between Ramia, Aita al-Shaab, and al-Qawzah, agricultural land in Houla and the outskirts of Zibqin, Majdal Zoun, and Tayr Harfa, amid artillery shelling on Chihin, Umm al-Tout, Majdal Zoun and Tayr Harfa.
