Iran Press/ Europe: Li Shangfu made these remarks in a meeting with Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, head of Iran's high-ranking military delegation, on the sidelines of the international military-security events of Russia in Moscow.
The Minister of Defense of China also announced his country's readiness to develop defense and military relations with the Iranian side in various dimensions.
On Monday, on the first day of his trip to Moscow, Brigadier General Nasirzadeh attended the Russian International Technical-Military Forum exhibition known as Army Forum 2023 in the Patriot Park in the west of Moscow and met with some participating officials. He accompanied the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, in visiting Iran's booth in this exhibition.
In a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it also emphasized the development of bilateral relations in the military and defense field.
Brigadier General Nasirzadeh also had a separate meeting with the Defense Minister of Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the International Security Conference in Moscow.
He also met with the Deputy Ministers of Defense of Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and the Deputy Ministers of Defense of Russia and Saudi Arabia separately.
In these meetings, while exchanging views on international and regional developments, the parties emphasized the necessity of the all-round development of bilateral military cooperation.
