Iran Press/ Europe: Wang Qun, China's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations based in Vienna, told reporters that the Iranian delegation is focusing on lifting sanctions as a priority, but also understands that other related issues need to be discussed.
Wang Qun described the Iranian delegation to the Vienna talks as pragmatic.
"We all agree that the priority is to lift sanctions, and we have to address that first," the senior Chinese diplomat said.
Enrique Mora, a senior European diplomat who chaired the meeting on lifting the sanctions against Iran, said that the talks were optimistic.
He said talks would continue on Tuesday and Wednesday with the formation of a working group to lift sanctions and Iran's nuclear program.
