Madrid- (IP) The Spanish translation of the memoirs of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution titled "Cell No. 14" was unveiled on the evening of Wednesday, December 13 in Madrid.

Iran PressEurope: This ceremony was attended by several academics, delegates of the media, and some officials and ambassadors of foreign countries who reside in Madrid. 

During this ceremony, Dr. Zabib, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambassador in Madrid, referred to the historical conditions of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.

He considered the book “Cell No. 14” as a recount of the character and determination of a person who fought for his beliefs, went to prison, was exiled, assassinated, went to the war front to fight the enemy, and experienced all different paths including his role as an MP, his role as Iran’s president and his role as the country’s leader.

According to Iran Press, during the unveiling ceremony, Iranian Minister of Culture Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili described the book as a practical role model explaining the fight between the right and the wrong along with showing the path for freedom seekers worldwide.

The Iranian cultural attache in Madrid, Mohammad Mahdi Ahmadi called the Leader of the Islamic Revolution a theoretician in the field of the Islamic Revolution, with comprehensiveness in the sciences, excellent management experience, and practical moral behavior.     

He described Ayatollah Khamenei as a "fighter against arrogance."    

Carlos Paz, a Spanish analyst and the author of 'Europe and Islam' criticized the Western media outlets that share false propaganda against Iran.

The Spanish analyst likened the book to Mantiq Al-Tayr, saying that 'cell No.14' shows the path of truth.      

Jorge Luis Fernandez Ordonez, a writer media analyst, and member and secretary of the Spanish Muslim Association was the next speaker at the conference.

Shedding more light on the content of the book, Ordonez considered the publication of the Spanish translation of the book as an opportunity to get familiar with the thoughts and life of Ayatollah Khamenei.          

The Vice President of the Cultural Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution, Mohammad Akhgari, also highlighted the section of the book that was about the killing of Palestinians in Black September (1970), saying "Today, after more than half a century, we are still witnessing the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, but the way of salvation is the same concept that is mentioned in this book, that is, with patience."

At the end of the ceremony, the book was unveiled with the presence of ambassadors of foreign countries and some intellectuals.
