Iran Press/ Middle East: Earlier on Sunday, an Egyptian security source told AFP that the Israeli side had agreed to a truce in Gaza, and Cairo was waiting for the Palestinian response.
Qatari-based Al-Jazeera reported that "A ceasefire in Gaza is set to take place later on Sunday at 1700 GMT or 8 pm local time, according to Islamic Jihad sources and Egypt's mediation team.
Since the conflict began on Friday, 32 Palestinians - including six children - have been killed, and 275 people have been wounded, said health authorities in the enclave where several buildings were reduced to rubble.

The Jordan-run Islamic Waqf Department official told Anadolu Agency that the settlers entered the site through the mosque's Al-Mugharbah Gate under Israeli police protection.
He said right-wing rabbi Yehuda Glick escorted the settlers.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is the world's third-holiest site for Muslims. Jews call the area the "Temple Mount," claiming it was the site of two Jewish temples in ancient times.
Arab political leaders across the region have condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza, which has left dozens of civilians dead.
The Arab League and individual states have made public announcements against Israel's violent attacks, which have escalated this week after Israel launched a series of strikes on Gaza.
The Arab League said it repudiated "in the strongest possible terms, the fierce Israeli aggression against Gaza."
Israel said Sunday that it killed a senior Islamic Jihad commander in a crowded Gaza refugee camp, the second such targeted attack since it launched its high-stakes military offensive against the militant group just before the weekend.
Since last Friday, various areas of the Gaza Strip have witnessed criminal attacks by the Zionist regime.
Following the Zionists' crimes, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, have also started retaliatory attacks with their rockets and mortars.
Israeli state radio says nearly 600 Palestinian rockets and mortars have been fired at Israel in the last 48 hours.
On Sunday, rockets fired from Gaza Strip even reached Jerusalem.
According to Israeli local media reports, Resistance Forces launched rockets toward central and southern Israel Sunday afternoon. The latest round of fighting between Israel and Gaza continues into its third day.
Emergency sirens were sounded in the southern city of Beersheba just after 3:00 pm Sunday, with sirens also stated in western Negev towns including Netivot, Beit Hagdi, Magalim, Givolim, and Mlilot.
Rockets were also fired towards the coastal city of Ashdod, with emergency sirens in Tekuma, Kfar Maimon, Tushia, and other nearby towns.
