Tehran (IP) - Six members of the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee registered to participate in the elections of the National Olympic Committee on its first day.

Iran PressIran news: Hadi Saei, head of the Taekwondo Federation, registered as the president and member of the executive board.

Also,Mohammad Reza Pouria, head of the badminton federation, registered as member of the executive board, Arash Mir Esmaili, head of the Judo Federation, registered as the president and member of the executive board. 

Mehdi Alinejad, a member of Wushu Federation's board of directors, signed up as the president, Mahmoud Khosravi Wafa, president of the National Paralympic Committee as the president,and Gholamreza Shabani Bahar, nominated for membership in the executive board of the National Olympic Committee.

These candidates attended among journalists and announced their purpose for running in the upcoming elections as helping Iran's sport and its athletes.

Registration of candidates for the positions of the National Olympic Committee will continue within 15 days.

According to the  decision of the assembly and executive board of the National Olympic Committee, the election of general assembly for this committee will be held in August this year.
