Iran Press/ America: A group of Canadian Muslims mourned martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who was assassinated in a US airstrike in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The ceremony was held on Sunday, January 5 at 3:30 p.m at Al-Rasul A'Zam mosque.
A cleric made his remarks about God's promises and the necessity of punishment for sinners in this world.
Then a group of mourners who had gathered in the mosque held a chest-beating ritual.
Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani was assassinated by direct order of US President Donald Trump along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
