Iran Press/Asia: Over the past 15 months, Zionist authorities have repeatedly blocked any possible agreement with the Hamas movement and prevented an agreement to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. However, a new round of negotiations between the parties is currently underway in Doha.
Accordingly, sources familiar with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) told Reuters: Hamas has finally agreed to the release of a list of 34 Zionist prisoners that was presented by Israel as part of a possible ceasefire agreement.
These sources, who did not want to be named, emphasized that any agreement with Israel is subject to the withdrawal of the regime's troops from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire in this strip. So far, no progress has been made in the negotiations by the Zionists.
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office, rejecting the statements of these Hamas officials, announced that Hamas has not agreed to this list so far.
The ongoing negotiations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza are currently underway in Doha with the mediation of the United States, Qatar, and Egypt. However, the Zionists' excessive demands have now become the biggest obstacle to reaching any agreement.
