Kabul (IP) - Afghan media reported an explosion in a mosque in the capital Kabul on Wednesday, in which reportedly 60 people were killed and wounded.

Iran PressAsia: According to the Tolo TV telegram channel, an explosion was heard in the Kheirkhane district in the Afghan capital of Kabul on Wednesday evening.

Some other reports say that the explosion targeted worshipers at a mosque in Kabul.

Al Jazeera TV channel has quoted an Afghan security source as saying that several people were martyred and many others were injured in the explosion in a mosque in the north of Kabul.

Some other news sources have reported that 60 people were killed and injured.

There is no immediate comment from Taliban officials about the attack.
