Iran Press/ Iran News: The secretary of the first annual faculty scientific meeting stated the aim to hold such a meeting is that promoting the university to international standards.
Ali Bagheri-Haqq said the meeting intended to invite students and faculty members from different Islamic countries to teach, learn, carry out research activities in the future.
Bagheri-Haqq further said that the scientific meeting was planned at a larger scale with over 100 posters and lectures, all at the international level, with other medical and non-medical universities.
Most of the posters presented at the meeting were either published or would be soon after international consideration, Bagheri-Haqq noted.
Twenty-two posters and three oral presentations were presented and organized in the meeting.
30 percent of the participants were women.
