Erbil (IP) - According to the Iran press, Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, in his first meeting in Erbil, Iraq, met and talked with Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Bagheri arrived in Erbil this morning (Friday, June 14) being officially received and welcomed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the region, Riber Ahmad, and will continue his plans to meet with the regional authorities in Sulaymaniyah.

He arrived in Baghdad on Thursday morning at the head of a delegation, and on the first day of his trip, he met and talked with the Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, President Abdul Latif Rashid, Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aarji, and Faiq Zeidan, Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council Chairman.
