Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Palestine Al-Yum report, Khalil Awawdeh, a 40-year-old Palestinian prisoner in the prisons of the Israeli regime, who has been on hunger strike for about 160 days, said in his first statement after the suspension of his administrative detention: "I will not end my hunger strike because of suspension of administrative detention and this strike will continue until we achieve complete freedom."
Awawdeh added: "Once again, I pay tribute to the Palestinian nation and their declaration of solidarity with my hunger strike."
Awawdeh's statements are made while the Supreme Court of the Israeli regime issued an urgent ruling on Friday evening regarding the suspension of the administrative detention of "Khalil Mohammad Awawdeh ", a Palestinian prisoner who is on a hunger strike.
Meanwhile, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said: "We have doubts about the decision to suspend the administrative detention of Khalil Awawdeh, and this does not mean the suspension of his detention." He also emphasized that Awawdeh 's detention should not have continued for even one day after the cease-fire in Gaza.
Khalil Awawdeh 's lawyer also announced that Awawdeh 's hunger strike will not be stopped because he is demanding his release, not the suspension of his detention.
