Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency, Ali Alizadeh stated: "Recently, talks were held between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan to schedule meetings so that the two sides could discuss the pedestrian and car bridges over the AstaraChai."
Speaking to Iran Press on the sidelines of the meeting titled "To Review Ways for Strengthening Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan Relations," Alizadeh referred to the friendly meeting between the two countries' presidents in Turkmenistan's capital, Ashgabat, and said: "The two sides emphasize the deepening of relations and development, and the ambassadors of the two countries have been advised to do so."
He noted that the meeting of the heads of the joint commissions of the two countries have indicated that both sides are interested in developing relations.
"The president of Azerbaijan described Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan as two friendly and brotherly countries, and we, as the ambassadors of the two sides, will try to increase the commonalities between Tehran and Baku," he concluded.
