Iran Press/ Asia: Turkey and Pakistan bilateral talks on Afghanistan will be held after Turkey local elections concluded in March, Afghan Tolo News agency reported.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan at a joint press conference on Saturday in Turkey with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said: "The people of Afghanistan have been suffering for over three decades. I look forward to the summit meeting in Istanbul, where we hope that Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey will be able to help in this peace process."
Also Tehran is undertaking in negotiations with Taliban to help settle the existing security problems in Afghanistan.

On Dec 26, 2018, the Secretary of Iran Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani after meeting with the National Security Adviser of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib in Kabul said and the negotiations in the future will continue.
Meanwhile in Istanbul, during the meeting, Imran Khan and Erdogan further extended strong mutual support to one another on all issues of core national interest and expressed commitment to further enhance their bilateral relations in every field to the benefit of their peoples.
Pakistani Prime Minister and Turkish President also reiterated the importance of the Turkey-Pakistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council mechanism and discussed on expanding defence industry cooperation a strengthening the existing economic, trade and commercial relations between the two countries.
