Iran Press/ Iran News: "Iran's armed forces are not dependent on other countries to meet the needs of the defense field," said the Commander-in-Chief of the Iran Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi.
Iranian top general visited the defense industry exhibition and stated that if a nation is dependent on the defense field, it will not be honorable and proud.
Iran's independence was the result of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's "leadership and wisdom," said the Iranian top general.
Major General Mousavi added that when a country relies on others for its defense equipment, it is limited to acting according to the capabilities in operations, but when a nation designs its defense equipment in accordance with its tactics and goals, it can make decisions and have the power of initiative.
He pointed to the achievements of the Iranian youth in the Defense Industry Achievements Exhibition and said that the Defense Ministry of the country can defend Iran with its reliance on young scientists, knowledge-based companies, and universities.
The exhibition of the achievements of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces started on Tuesday, August 22, with the presence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the unveiling of the Mohajer 10 UAV.
The exhibition is held on the occasion of the country's Defense Industry Day and will be visited by various officials and groups within a week.
