Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during the phone call with Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and coordinator of the Vienna talks, called the positions and statements of the three European countries a "non-constructive manner, saying that they take a negative political and media stance on the issue,
He also described such campaigns as a factor in complicating the situation and slowing down the agreement process.
Amir Abdollahian stated: "If European colleagues study the proposed draft texts of Iran carefully and without false presuppositions, they will realize that the proposals are within the framework of JCPOA and are focused on the unfinished topics in the June 2021 talks."
Criticizing the West's continued inaction even at the Vienna talks, Iran's foreign minister added: "Iran has not yet received any constructive and forward-looking proposals from the other side, and this is in conflict with the announcement of their serious presence in the talks."
Amir Abdollahian said: "In the last eight years, enough has been said and promises have been made, but today is the time to act and Iran is trying to reach a serious and good agreement."
The Iranian Foreign Minister also stressed that Iran's nuclear program is completely peaceful and that resolving nuclear concerns is directly related to the complete lifting of sanctions.
Borrell also expressed hope that with the efforts and interaction of all parties, the Vienna talks will move towards reaching an agreement.
High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and coordinator of the Vienna talks stressed that the United States and the three European countries have been reminded that the talks must be realistic and that the two sides must make progress.
