Tehran(IP)-The new ambassador of Iran to New Zealand met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the eve of his departure and discussed the state of relations between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, on Wednesday in a meeting with Reza Nazarahari, the new ambassador of Iran to New Zealand, referring to the good history of relations between Iran and New Zealand, emphasized the need to expand interactions in the field of mutual use of modern technologies in a bid to ensure food security and he also stressed the use of active diplomacy to establish direct and transparent communication in the field of political, international and cultural issues.

Reza Nazarahari was previously the advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Latin American countries and also the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Japan and Finland.

Also, Dawood Mirzakhani, the new Consul General of Iran in Kazan, met Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the eve of his departure.
